Memories of Sunset in Boothbay Harbor ( Maine ) in late of August. One day before returned to home, I was standing infront of Rocktide Inn and Boothbay Harbor Inn to see the sunset. Boothbay Harbor was a nice place to see seascape , and lots of kind boats ( schoonner, lobster, sailing, fishing, etc) also to see the busyness of the harbor in summer time.
Watched the moment at dusk and the reflection on the water, give me lots of inspiration to painting.
And I can spent all days in harbor just enjoy to see the boats, sound of water and watch the seagull flying around.
And here, the rocktide sunset painting. I hope you enjoy it and could bring back a nice memories of summer in Maine.

I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
